Marlene Schwitzer, RN, CALA
Marlene Schwitzer holds a bachelor Degree of Nursing from Rutgers University. She completed the NJDSS Medication Management Trainer course in 2006 and is currently being credentialed as Certified Legal Nurse Consultant.
Marlene's distinguished career includes 10 years of executive management of home health nursing. Since 2005,
Marlene has served as the Director of Health and Wellness for an assisted living community. In this role, Marlene has developed an outstanding curriculum for Medication Aide training, and ongoing staff development training program.
In the past year, Marlene initiated and developed the CMA program and provided leadership in development
of the new 2007 ALF new regulations in the areas of the pharmaceutical policy and procedures. Additionally, Ms. Schwitzer is approved as a CHHA Trainer and has been nominated for the 2008 Governor's
Nursing Excellence Award.
